BACKGROUND

BILP initiative Uganda is a local NGO started in Busia district in Eastern Uganda. The organization was founded in July 2015 initially as a small church affiliated and self-driven Community Based Organization (CBO) with the primary aim of responding to the widespread economic and environmental challenges facing communities across the Buhehe sub county, in Busia District.

BILP initiative has evolved and grown over the years to become a key player in providing socio-economic and environmental support to communities across 3 districts including BusiaNamayingo and Bugiri.

Bilp initiative Uganda is a life transforming and environmental conservation nonprofit Non-government Organization (NGO).

Founded in 2015, initially as a small church affiliated and self-driven Community Based Organization (CBO) with the primary aim of responding to the widespread economic and environmental challenges facing communities across the Buhehe sub county, in Busia District.

Bilp has a vision to empower vulnerable communities by addressing economic and environmental challenges through knowledge sharing and programs to improve livelihoods and communities.

Our model is centered around people, giving hope, improving livelihoods and environmental conservation projects (Climate change mitigation and Adaptation).

Bilp Initiative has and continues to have unprecedented and unparallel growth which is a testimony of our works through our carefully designed programs not limited to elderly support, livelihood projects, environmental conservation programs and many more.

Bilp Initiative Uganda labors to see an empowered community living in happiness, enriched with knowledge and practical skills to address community challenges.

The organization gives hop to vulnerable communities and therefore seeks for partners, supporters, Donors and sponsors to help make the dreams and vision of Bilp Initiative true and expand to other regions.
